Pillar 07 · Insurance & Risk Protection

Protect the plan
you just built.

Coverage gap analysis across life, disability, health, auto, home and renters — plus a private vault for every policy document.

The number

6

coverage types checked for gaps, limits and beneficiaries

Illustrative outcome target for this pillar. Not a guarantee — your results will vary based on your situation.
What's inside

Everything you need for insurance & risk protection.

Straight answer on timing: everything below ships with the app on September 1, 2026, except the items marked Coming soon — those land in a later release, and we'd rather tell you now than surprise you inside the app.

Life coverage adequacy (DIME)

At launch

Debt, income replacement, mortgage and education — we run the DIME math on your real numbers and show the gap in dollars.

Coverage gap scorecard

At launch

Life, disability, health, auto, homeowners and renters, each scored so you can see what's missing, thin, or duplicated.

Policy vault

At launch

Upload declarations pages and policies to private storage. Rename, re-file and download them any time — nothing expires on you.

Renewal & beneficiary reminders

At launch

Premiums, renewal dates and named beneficiaries tracked in one place, with nudges before anything lapses.

How it works

Three steps. No fluff.

Step 01

List what you already have

Carrier, coverage amount, premium, renewal date, beneficiaries.

Step 02

See the gaps in dollars

We compare your coverage to your obligations and income, not to an average.

Step 03

Close them in order

Boss Money AI sequences the fixes — usually disability and term life first.

Common questions

Specifics, not slogans.

Do you sell insurance?
No. Boss Finances does not sell policies, take commissions, or receive placement fees from carriers. The Insurance pillar is education and organization: we run the coverage math, show you where the gaps are, store your documents, and remind you before renewals. When you're ready to buy, you shop the open market or work with a licensed agent of your choosing.
Which coverage should I fix first?
For most working households the biggest uninsured risk is income, not property — so disability coverage and enough term life to cover debts plus income replacement usually come before upgrading anything else. But it depends on who depends on you and what you owe, which is exactly what the DIME calculation and the coverage scorecard are for. This is general education, not a recommendation to buy a specific product.
