Section 01What Boss Finances is
Boss Finances is a personal-finance education and coaching platform operated by Boss Family Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of T. James Enterprises Inc. ("Boss Finances," "we," "us"). We provide software tools, educational content, and AI-assisted coaching designed to help you understand and manage your own money — budgeting and cash flow, credit, debt, savings, homeownership preparation, and long-term wealth planning.
Everything we offer is informational and educational. You make your own financial decisions and remain solely responsible for them.
Section 02Not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice
Boss Finances is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner, accounting firm, or law firm, and nothing on the platform is personalized investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. We do not:
- Recommend specific securities, account allocations, or investment products as suitable for your personal circumstances;
- Manage, custody, or take discretion over your money or assets;
- Provide legal opinions or prepare or file tax returns on your behalf.
The platform may show illustrative figures, sample portfolios, and educational examples. These are for teaching purposes only and are not recommendations. Before acting on any financial matter, consider consulting a qualified, licensed professional who can account for your specific situation.
Section 03Credit education — not credit repair
Our credit features teach you how credit scoring works and help you build a plan you carry out yourself. Boss Finances is not a credit repair organization as defined by the federal Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) or analogous state laws, and we do not perform credit repair services on your behalf for a fee.
- We provide educational templates (including dispute letters based on your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act) that you review, complete, and send yourself.
- We do not contact credit bureaus, creditors, or furnishers on your behalf, and we do not promise to remove accurate, current, or verifiable information from any credit report.
- You have the right to dispute inaccurate information in your own credit file for free, directly with the credit bureaus, without any third party.
Section 04Results and outcome targets are not guarantees
Any score lifts, debt-payoff timelines, savings milestones, or other figures described as "typical," "target," or "engineered around" are illustrative goals, not promises. Personal-finance outcomes depend on factors outside our control — your income, existing debts, spending behavior, the accuracy of credit-file data, and your own follow-through.
We do not guarantee that you will achieve any particular credit score, eliminate any specific amount of debt within any timeframe, save any specific amount, qualify for any loan or program, or experience any particular financial result. Your results will vary.
Section 05Boss Money AI
Boss Money AI is an automated, AI-powered coaching feature. It generates educational explanations and suggested next steps based on the information available to it, including data you choose to share. It is a tool to support your own decisions — not a human advisor and not a substitute for professional advice.
- AI-generated responses may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. Verify anything important before acting on it.
- Boss Money AI does not execute transactions, move money, or take actions on your accounts.
- Conversations may be processed by third-party AI providers under their terms; see our Privacy Policy.
Section 06Linked accounts and your data
If you choose to connect financial accounts, you authorize us and our aggregation partners to access read-only account information to power the platform's features. We do not initiate payments or trades from linked accounts. Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, and your use of the platform is governed by our Terms of Service.
Section 07Third-party services and links
The platform may rely on or link to third-party services (such as data aggregators, payment processors, and AI providers) and to other Boss Family products. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. References to third-party companies, products, or marks (including any brokerage tickers shown in examples) are for identification and education only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
Section 08Intellectual property
The Boss Finances name, logo, "Boss Money AI," "the Boss Path," and all related content, software, and design are the property of Boss Family Holdings, Inc. and its affiliates, protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the platform except as expressly permitted in our Terms of Service.
Section 09Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boss Finances and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any financial losses, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the platform, or from decisions you make based on information provided through it. The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
