Know where every dollar goes —
before payday hits.

The number

typical annual leak the subscription-detector surfaces (illustrative)

Illustrative outcome target for this pillar. Not a guarantee — your results will vary based on your situation.
What's inside

Everything you need for budget & cash flow.

Straight answer on timing: everything below ships with the app on September 1, 2026, except the items marked Coming soon — those land in a later release, and we'd rather tell you now than surprise you inside the app.

Auto-categorized transactions

At launch

Linked accounts sync nightly. Categories that adapt to how you actually spend, not generic buckets.

Cash-flow forecast

At launch

See your next 30 days, account by account, before bills hit. No surprises, no overdrafts.

Subscription leak detector

At launch

We surface every recurring charge — including the trials that quietly converted six months ago.

Spending guardrails

At launch

Set per-category limits with friendly nudges, not shame. Weekly check-ins, not daily nagging.

How it works

Three steps. No fluff.

Step 01

Link your accounts

Read-only via Plaid. Bank-level encryption. Takes ~90 seconds.

Step 02

Get your cash-flow map

We surface your real fixed costs, variable spend, and what's actually left.

Step 03

Boss Money AI tunes it weekly

Specific moves: 'shift this transfer to Friday,' 'cancel this subscription,' 'fund this bucket first.'

Common questions

Specifics, not slogans.

Can I use it without linking my bank?
Yes. Linking accounts via Plaid makes everything automatic — nightly syncs, the cash-flow forecast, and leak detection all run on their own. But if you'd rather not connect a bank, you can add accounts and transactions manually and still get budgeting, guardrails, and the Boss Money AI weekly tune-up. You'll just be doing the data entry the sync would otherwise handle.
Does it work with cash spending?
It does. Cash never shows up in a bank feed, so you log cash spending in a few taps — or set a recurring "cash envelope" amount you pull each week and track against. The forecast and guardrails treat that cash bucket like any other category, so your "what's actually left" number stays honest even for spending that happens off the grid.
