How do I create my Boss Finances account?

Tap Sign up, enter your email and a password (or continue with Google), then complete the short onboarding so your coach can tailor the six pillars to your goals. You can change any answer later in Settings.

What are the six pillars?

Boss Finances organizes your money into six guided pillars — Budget, Credit, Debt, Savings, Homeownership, and Wealth. Each pillar gives you tools plus AI coaching so you always know the next best move.

How does Boss Money AI coaching work?

Boss Money AI reviews the information in your pillars and answers questions in plain English. It explains what's happening, why, and what to do next. It is educational coaching — it never contacts bureaus or lenders on your behalf.

Linked Accounts & Data

Connect banks and keep your data accurate.

How do I link my bank account?

Open the Budget pillar and choose Link account. We use a bank-grade connection to securely import balances and transactions. Your login credentials are never stored by Boss Finances — only a secure access token held server-side.

Why don't I see my latest transactions?

Transactions sync automatically, but you can force a refresh from the Linked accounts card. New transactions can take a few hours to post at your bank before they appear here.

How do I remove a linked bank?

Go to the Linked accounts card and choose Remove. This revokes our access token immediately and stops future syncing. Previously imported transactions can also be deleted from your account.

Manage your subscription and payments.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Open Settings and choose Manage billing to update your card, switch plans, or cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on new paid plans. Email support@bossfinances.ai within 14 days of your first charge and we'll process a full refund.

What do founding members get?

Founding members lock in lifetime-discounted pricing, an exclusive badge, and early access to new features. The founding tier is limited to the first 1,000 paying members.

Can Boss Finances dispute items on my credit report?

Boss Finances is not a credit repair organization. We help you generate self-advocacy letters for information you genuinely believe is inaccurate, and you submit them yourself. We never contact bureaus for you and never guarantee score changes.

Will using Boss Finances raise my credit score?

We provide education and tools to help you build healthy credit habits, but no one can guarantee a specific score change. Results depend on your own financial behavior over time.

Security & Privacy

How we protect your information.

How is my financial data protected?

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Bank access tokens are stored server-side only and are never exposed to your browser. Access is governed by strict row-level security so you can only ever see your own data.

How do I delete my account and data?

Open Settings and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, linked accounts, and financial data. The action cannot be undone.
